Arrival
Please arrive 15 minutes before your first appointment or before any new service in order to ensure your information is up to date and to fill out any necessary forms. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your stylist may need to shorten your appointment or reschedule it to a later date. However, you will still be charged for the full service price (subject to manager discretion).
Fees
A $2 eco fee is charged on all visits to aid in our commitment to be a clean salon. We partner with Green Circle Salons to recycle up to 95% of our waste. Ask us for more details if you have questions!
Incorrect Service Warning
If you incorrectly book your service when you make your appointment, we will do all we can to accommodate any necessary changes. However, this may not always be possible. In the event that the desired service cannot be performed, you may be charged for the appointment booked, even if no service is performed, to compensate for the incorrect booking. We highly advise clarifying with your stylist the exact service needed and encourage you to take advantage of our free consultation appointment if you have any questions in order to avoid such problems.
Color Disclaimer
Color and chemical services are often more involved than what is first thought. A Great Escape Spalon strives to ensure that you leave with your dream look, but certain factors may prevent this from happening. We will not perform any service that we believe would be damaging and your desired look may take several visits or not be possible for whatever reason. After a thorough analysis of your hair, we will discuss realistic goals with you and ask that you listen to our expertise.
Right To Refuse Service
Our stylists reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including the health of your hair, skin, nails. Our stylists wish to ensure you have the best possible experience and hope you will trust our expertise.
Refunds & Guarantees
A Great Escape Spalon does not provide refunds on any services performed, but we do have a 7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee to ensure you leave the Spalon feeling and looking your best. However, this is only valid if all applicable forms have been filled out and signed prior to your appointment. In addition, we DO NOT guarantee any fantasy hair color or white blonde/silver hair color as these types of colors can be very unpredictable. It also does not include any work performed by our Rising Stars, as these are students and apprentices gaining experience. If a product does not satisfy your needs, we will gladly exchange it for another within 30 days or provide store credit for future use. No cash refunds.
Credit Card on File Policy
All appointments for new clients are required to place a card on file and a 10% deposit paid. This deposit is fully refundable if the appointment is cancelled before 24 hours (72 hours for parties of 5 or more). At the time of the appointment, any form of payment may be used and the paid deposit will be applied to the services received.
Cancellation and No Show Policy
While we do not enjoy charging any clients for services they have not received, adequate notice is important to ensure that our stylists get paid as they do work off of commission and it is impossible to recover that lost income when appointments are cancelled last minute. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours (72 hours for parties of 5 or more) of the scheduled time may be charged up to 25% of the appointment cost. However, last-minute cancellations (2 hours or less before the scheduled appointment time) will be charged up to 50% of the scheduled appointment cost. No shows will be charged 50% of the booked services at the close of business the day of service and if 3 no shows / last minute cancellations occur, A Great Escape may refuse to provide further services.
